Getting There
Located at an altitude of 1750 meters, Bhowali is a picturesque 20-minute drive over a 11 km distance through forested hills from Nainital, in the newly formed state of Uttarakhand. There are several ways of getting to Bhowali: by Air, by Road, by Train; or a combination of these modes of transport.
By Air
Flights to Pantnagar from Delhi are available. The flying time is approximately 50 minutes. The Pantnagar airport is 90 minutes from the Retreat. Car pick up can be arranged from the airport on prior intimation.
By Road
Bhowali is located at a distance of 11 Kms from Nainital, on the Kathgodam- Almora / Ranikhet highway and is the gateway into the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Bhowali is connected by road from Delhi (310 Kms). The drive from Delhi to Bhowali takes approximately 7 hours.
By Rail
Express Trains (Ranikhet Express, Sampark Kranti Express) run daily from Old Delhi Railway Station to Kathgodam the last railhead in the Kumaon hills. From Kathgodam, Bhowali is approximately 30km away and we will be happy to arrange taxi pick up at the Kathgodam railway station on prior intimation. Map
